Writing

An experienced editor and writer, Ann enjoys making people laugh and getting them to see the world in a different way through the creative use of the written word. She has shared her love of travel, art, music, food, yoga, and various cultural events through two popular blogs, Time In New York and San Francisco Bound, and most recently, in the critically acclaimed website Untapped Cities. Untapped brings readers into publicly inaccessible places, offers behind-the-scenes tours, and exposes new angles into popular places in cities around the world. A full list of her articles on Untapped Cities can be found here. As the editor of Untapped SF, Ann is always looking for writers and photographers to share their love of San Francisco.

Ann has worked as an editor for Carnegie Hall, assembling program notes and materials for orchestra, chamber, solo instrumental, and vocal concerts, spanning the gamut from early music to world music. She has experience with design and editing of marketing materials, including newspaper and online advertisements. Her dedication to music education prompted her to be the main editor for Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute materials, including flyers, textbooks, special Playbills designed for children, and online resources.
